The work comprises the whole organisation. Our goal is to use fewer resources and replace products that have a big effect on the environment to more environmental friendly alternatives. For instance, we practice efficient energy use while various renewable energy sources are prioritised.

The same principle - to reduce and replace - applies to all areas from consumables and cleaning products to furniture, room decoration and transport. The volume of waste is reduced through less packaging and recycling. As an independent party, Svanen controls that the hotel meets the stringent environmental requirements.
